Rental Criteria

Screening Criteria Overview: Total verifiable household gross income should be at 2x the monthly rent or more. Credit score should be 650 or more. Additional screening criteria is based on City of Portland and State of Oregon requirements. For rentals in the City of Portland, applications are processed in accordance with Portland Ordinance No. 189580. Chroma Property Management uses Portland’s Landlord Choice option for background checks including credit reports, eviction history, and criminal history, specifically requiring a credit score of 650 or more. Properties in Portland may be evaluated utilizing Portland’s Low-Barrier Screening Criteria at the sole discretion of Chroma Property Management.
